The Touchstone Project Founded in 2004, the Touchstone Project helps at-risk children achieve greater success in school through music instruction and performance. Started by The Center for the Arts of Wyoming, Ohio, the Touchstone Project provides no-cost instruction in stringed instruments to children in elementary schools which are selected based on economic need.

For a child to be successful in school and in life, it takes an early start in developing intelligence, consistent work habits, and a joy for learning.
